St. Nicholas Chapel is open for prayer and meditation 24 hours a day. It is accessed by the entrance at the corner of Main St. and River Rd.
Those who worship at St. Andrew’s come from all walks of life. We respect diversity and individuality. We find our unity at the Eucharist table, and ground our faith in scripture, tradition and reason.
In the midst of our busy lives, taking time to gather with others for worship can be a challenge. In the words of the Catechism, we make it a point to gather together each week “to acknowledge the holiness of God, to hear God’s Word, to offer prayer, and to celebrate the sacraments.”
Prepare to visit St. Andrew's!

What's happening this Sunday
Fifth Sunday after the Epiphany - Feb. 8, 2026
There are two services on Sundays - 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM. The 10:30 service will be livestreamed on our Facebook page. You don't need a Facebook account to watch!) Video of Sunday's worship is available on our page for 30 days after the live broadcast so you can worship anytime.)
Adult Forum: The Ethics of Power, Compassion, and Cruelty
In the second of this two-part discussion, the forum will explore how we are to understand our ethical and moral responsibilities as individuals and as members of society. What are the roots of compassion? Why do we inflict suffering on each other? When we see the cruelty so prevalent in the world, how, as Christians, are we called to respond? Our goal in these discussions will not be to come to definitive answers, but rather to develop a deeper understanding as we seek the guidance of scripture and faith. Join us this Sunday, Feb. 8, at 9:15 AM in the parish hall.
Acolyte Festival information meeting
Calling all acolytes and their families! We will have an information session after worship (12 PM) on Sunday, Feb. 8, in the parish hall to give you all the details you need about our trip to the Acolyte Festival at the National Cathedral (Oct 9-10). The trip committee will be available to answer questions and begin to take registrations. Register online for the Acolyte Festival trip here.
Nursery
St. Andrew's nursery is open Sunday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. It is staffed by trained professionals who have completed Safe Church training and a background check. There is no charge to use the nursery.
Children's Chapel
Children aged 4 through 5th grade are invited to join us every Sunday during the school year during the 10:30 worship service. Meet the teachers on the Ferguson Ave. playground at 10:15. After some recreation time, the children go inside and are grouped by age for a lesson based on that Sunday's lectionary. Children return to parents in worship in time for Communion. All our Children's Chapel volunteers are safe-church trained and background checked.

What to expect when you come to worship
We have two services on Sunday mornings:
8:00 AM Service: This early service is a simpler, smaller gathering. There is no singing, and it is a more meditative experience. It regularly uses the Rite I form of Holy Eucharist found in the Book of Common Prayer, a form which uses more traditional language.
10:30 AM Service: This service includes congregational singing as well as anthems by our choir. It regularly uses the Rite II form of Holy Eucharist found in the Book of Common Prayer. You’ll find children and youth participating in worship, serving as acolytes. For those who would find it helpful, Children’s Chapel is available for ages 4 through 5th grade, and nursery care is open for children ages 0-3. And, of course, Children are always welcome in worship at St. Andrew’s! We have bags filled with all kinds of quiet activities to occupy younger children during the service. Click here for more information about your Children’s & Youth Ministries.
Parking
Located in the heart of the residential area of historic Hilton Village, St. Andrew’s does not have a dedicated parking lot. There is lots of free street parking available, as well as two lots at Hilton Elementary School that you can use on Sunday mornings.
Greeters and ushers
The entrance to the church is on River Road. When you arrive, one of our ushers or greeters will welcome you and provide you with a bulletin for the day’s service. They can also direct you to restrooms, the nursery, and answer any questions you may have.
For Children on Sunday morning
For those who would find it helpful, Children’s Chapel is available for ages 4 through 5th grade, and nursery care is open for children ages 0-3. And, of course, Children are always welcome in worship at St. Andrew’s! We have bags filled with all kinds of quiet activities to occupy younger children during the service.
Handicapped Accessibility
All of St. Andrew’s is handicapped accessible. There is a ramp at the River Road entrance to the church and an automatic handicapped entryway adjacent to the Main Street parish building entrance. Once inside the building, there are elevators that will provide access to all areas of the building. A handicapped accessible restroom is also available in our Youth House.
Service dogs welcome
Service dogs are always welcome at St. Andrew’s. Animals are one of God’s great gifts to us. The loyalty and affection of our pets and service animals can be for us a reminder of the way God loves us – completely and abundantly. What a blessing that some animals are able to serve as helpers and companions to humans who need a little extra help!

Learn more about the Episcopal Church
You can learn more about the Episcopal Church here. Episcopalians subscribe to the historic Nicene Creed and the Apostles Creed as central statements of our beliefs. We consider the Bible to be divinely inspired. The Eucharist (Holy Communion) is our central act of Christian worship. The Book of Common Prayer guides our liturgy in public worship and serves as a major source of unity for Anglicans around the world.
