Christian Fellowship at the Waddills: Invite a Friend, Bring a Chair
Join Dan & Karen for an hour of fellowship under the oaks this Saturday, June 20 from 10-11am. Dan will give a short homily followed by prayer and song. While there are no children's activities planned, all are welcome. The only rules are to Invite a Friend and Bring a Chair!
Children’s Chapel during the summer
Children’s chapel will be on break after June 7 for four weeks. During that break, the nursery will be welcoming children up through age 5, and as always, children of all ages are welcome in church. As counterintuitive as it may seem, children tend to behave better the closer they are to the front because they can actually see what’s going on! Children’s chapel “lite” will begin on Sunday, July 12 and last until the new program year begins. Children will be led out for the middle part of the service for a very short lesson. Look for more information to come.
Help replace the Ferguson Ave playground slide
We are pleased to provide the Ferguson Avenue playground space for the community to enjoy and are gratified that it is so well-used. Over time, however, it begins to show the wear. Starting with the broken slide (and also hoping to replace the fence and repair the ground cover), we want to maintain the playground as a safe and enjoyable space. We have invited the community to contribute to this effort and now we are inviting parishioners to join us as well. No amount is too small (or too large!). Checks can be made payable to St. Andrew's with "playground" on the memo line, or you can donate online by clicking the DONATE button above and specifying the playground fund. Thank you for being a part of this effort to provide a play area that serves the entire neighborhood!
