Parish Discernment Process
St. Andrew's parishioners, please plan to be a part of the three important discernment meetings on October 18, Thursday, Nov. 8, and Tuesday, Nov. 27. Click here for more information about the discernment process.

Abundant Blessings
Our annual stewardship campaign kicked off Sept. 23 and Commitment Sunday will be Nov. 4. With pledge time upon us, please remember that our personal commitments are not only an investment in our own Christian faith, but are also a key ingredient in drawing others into a ‘deeper knowledge of, love of, and service to the Lord.’ Click here for more on the Abundant Blessings campaign and to print a pledge card.

Cookies for Kairos
Brad Norris, Matt Deller and Joe Durant will be joining the Kairos prison ministry team at Nottoway Correctional Center Nov. 14-18. Home baked cookies are needed for the weekend. Get more info here.

Give gift cards for the holidays!
Support St. Andrew's and our outreach programs when you purchase gift cards to give at the holidays. Cards are available from a host of retailers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Gap, Kohl's, LL Bean, Lowes, Macy's, Starbucks, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Whole Foods, and LOTS more. Nominations for the Vestry
Nominations for the Vestry Class of 2021 are now being accepted. If you would like to nominate someone, after getting their permission, please submit the nomination using the form available from the church office, and turn it into the office.  Although nominations can be made at any time prior to the Annual Meeting, it will be helpful to have them by November 3 in order for them to be included in the newsletters and on the electronic board.  The election will take place on Sunday, December 2 after the 10:30 a.m. service.

Carolyn Lackey Trust grant applications being accepted!
One way St. Andrew's serves our community is through the administration of grants from the Carolyn Lackey Trust. If you are involved in any way in a non-profit organization, you can help them get grant funding for their mission through our Lackey Trust. Get more information on that program here. Applications are due by November 30.

Daughters of the King: Training for new members
The Daughters of the King is a mainly Episcopal religious order for lay women. Members take life long vows of prayer and service. The Joanna Chapter at St. Andrew’s will be training prospective members in January. Stay tuned for future details.
