Acolytes perform ceremonial duties during the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday morning and at special seasonal services. They carry crosses and torches, light candles, and assist the priests at the altar. St. Andrew’s is proud to have the youth of our parish participate in worship with such responsibilities. Training sessions are scheduled throughout the year as needed and on an individual basis.

Children’s Chapel
Children’s Chapel, for children age 3 through 5th grade, is offered during the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday. Following the Gospel reading, children leave for Chapel and return in time for Communion. Clergy or other leaders offer an age-appropriate lesson based on the lectionary of the day and music is led by our Minister of Music Brad Norris.

St. Andrew’s provides a nursery for infants through three-year-olds each Sunday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and at other times as needed in the Children’s Center. Our nursery is staffed by nurturing, trained and loving adults and youth who watch over and guide the children while their parents/guardians enjoy worship and other church events.
