We had a beehive of activity that began about 7:30 a.m. on the 18th of December with carving in the kitchen and continued through the delivery of the bag lunches. Thanks to your generosity we were able to provide:

• the turkey for Christmas dinner for PORT and St. Paul's.
• LINK families with packages of turkey.
• 636 bag lunches for the homeless. Each lunch had two napkins, salt and pepper, mayo and mustard packets, a canned drink, a juice box, applesauce and spoon, three cracker items, two cookie items, two chip items, two turkey sandwiches, and items of candy.
• We also sent about 50 additional sandwiches to Youth Challenge.

In 2008 we made 500 bag lunches in 90 minutes. This year we made 636 bag lunches in 100 minutes! That's 1,272 sandwiches! Thank you to all who: donated items or money, helped carve and made sandwiches, helped to put the bag lunches together, and delivered the boxes and bags. And, a special thanks to our day school 5th graders and teachers who kept things moving!
