This Sunday Bruce Cameron, former Primus of Scotland, confirmed eight and received one person into the the fellowship of the Episcopal Church. Before the service, the parish held a reception for the Bishop and the confirmands. The Christian Education Program, which preceeded the reception, was led by the bishop's wife. He was the Resident Scholar at Bruton Parish Church, Williamsburg, from October 2006 through May 2007 and is in country for three months to assist Bishop Buchanan, our interim Diocesan Bishop. It is our great privilege to have him and his wife with us this Sunday.
